Look out your window at night,A Guy Who Tried To Eat His Friend’s Sister in law and Got Eaten (2024) and you'll see a new crop of nocturnal loiterers at playgrounds and parks hunting Pokémon.

The mobile game came to Southeast Asia over the weekend just in time for the Hungry Ghost Festival. The month-long period is observed by Buddhists and Taoist communities in countries in the region such as Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, where it is believed that souls roam the earth.
