Another year,Watch Brooklyn Nine another bunch of weird Halloween outfits -- but none quite like this.

Forget your "sexy" fake news costumes and your various examples of outfits based on popular memes -- this year it's all about the "Absent Father" (complete with "the pack of cigarettes he went out for") and "Milkshake Duck".

The costumes in question come courtesy of comedian Jeff Wysaski. Over on his obviousplant Instagram account he's started a trend of creating fake Halloween outfits and apparently leaving them in Halloween stores for unsuspecting shoppers to find.

Wysaski's got some impressive range, too -- the costumes include everything from the subtle-comment-on-society variety to the straight up, no-holds-barred ridiculous.

Our personal favourite, however, has to be the "Absent Father" costume (scroll to the right on the post below to see it).

It's pretty brutal (and almost certainly insensitive), but hey -- in the quest to parody ridiculous Halloween outfits, no stereotype is safe.
