Sydney Trains were quick to get their hands on the missing toy, with the incident given the hashtag #SadBunny. Then the internet joined forces to track down the owner.

Bunny relatives of the world did what they can to reunite their lost family member, as people joined along for the ride, hoping for a happy ending.

Incredibly, the father of the owner stepped up on Twitter to claim it. #SadBunny wasn't sad anymore.
